Bob's Birders

This exists because one day I imagined Teddy from Bob's Burgers as a squirrel, sitting on his stool at the restaurant. We have a couple bird feeders around our yard, but they seem to taunt the crows, jays, and squirrels who are too big for them. So I decided to make a feeder for them; in hopes of getting a picture of a small squirrel sitting on a diner stool eating seeds. Do squirrels like to wear knit caps?

I designed this to be a fairly straight forward project. All the parts are 3D printed, you just need adhesive, mounting screws (if mounting), and a paint pen for writing on the “blackboard.” There are a few color changes, but they're done at layer heights; no multi-material capabilities required. And only one piece has suggested supports.

There is a lot of plastic in this print because I wanted it to stand up to abuse (you can see in my photos that it passed the fat fall squirrel test). This was 45 hours of printing on my MK3s with a 0.6mm nozzle. If someone prints this on a newer, faster printer I'd be interested in hearing how long it takes you.

All the pieces of the restaurant should fit on a Prusa Mini or larger print bed. The roof is just slightly too large for the mini, but will print on most printers.
