Description
Need a place to store your ring safely while you're out climbing, trail running, surfing, swimming, or hiking? Drop your ring in one of these little ring safes, press and twist the cap into place, and clip it to a locking carabiner, and secure it to your harness or other gear.
The case will protect your ring from scratches, and because the carabiner clips through the center of the ring, even if the case is broken, the ring will still be captive on the carabiner.
Two sizes allow you to pick the right one for your needs. The center hole is large enough to fit most modern carabiners.
The “minimalist” size will store a ring down to US size 5, or 15 mm inner diameter, and with an outer diameter less than 26 mm. Maximum width of the band is 8 mm. This should work for many simple/standard wedding bands.
The “standard” size will store a ring down to US size 5.5, or 15.75 mm inner diameter, and with an outer diameter less than 32 mm. Maximum width of the band is 10 mm.
And, the “big” size will store a ring down to US size 8, or 17.75 mm inner diameter, and with an outer diameter less than 32 mm. Maximum width of the band is a wide 17 mm.
Of course if those options don't perfectly suit your needs, just scale your print up or down to get the exact size you need.
If your print parameters are off and there is too much friction between the two parts, try lightly sanding the mating face of the female part.
