Airbus A320 FCU ALT Knob

Dimensionally accurate two-part design that can be printed without supports or overhang. Can be printed in matte grey and used without any painting or post processing.

Knob includes chamfers on all edges, like in the real aircraft, so it feels good to use

Knob base and top designed to be printed in matte grey PLA, though can be printed in any colour and painted

Two parts of knob are a tight push fit, though can be secured with CA glue

Hole diameter 6.5mm for encoder shaft. Threaded hole for M3 5mm grub screw to secure knob to shaft 

Print at 0.15 layer height, 100% infill. Ironing can be used on top if printer doesn't naturally produce a smooth finish

100/1000 select ring designed to be printed in matte Black PLA.  Ring has 4 x 3mm holes in base for attaching 100/1000 actuator and switch mechanism (to be designed)
