Multi Bowl Water Fountain Electronics House

The Multi Bowl Water Feature shown here was not designed to hold any electronics. This was due to the design being primarily focused on being was waterproof as possible. To solve this problem, this base clips onto the bottom of the stem and houses a battery holder so that the water fountain can be placed anywhere, along with extra wiring to allow the user to power by a DC power supply.

Electronics

The electronics for this are incredibly simple, an adjustable LM2596 Buck converter is used to control the motor speed. Two switches allow the user to select either the Battery or mains power along with an overall kill switch, the wiring for this is shown below.

Notes:

Due to this part not having to hold water, there is no need to make it waterproof. For this reason, this was simply painted with two coats of acrylic paint.
