Description
Updated with two sizes!
If you have received a humidity gauge from KiwiFil in 2022 or later, the "smaller" version of the gauge holder (45.4 mm wide hole) will likely fit your gauge the best. If you received it earlier, the larger version (47.4 mm wide hole) may be the best fit.
Happy Printing! :-)
--- Humidity - your #1 3D printing enemy! ---
Humidity is your number one 3D printing enemy! Over about 45 % relative humidity (RH), you will see stringing, popping, and poor mechanical strength. At about 60 % RH, your entire print may turn into custard.
Keeping track of the humidity in your 3D printer room or enclosure is the first step of controlling the humidity. This holder is designed for a standard humidity and temperature gauge. The hole is 26.5 by 47.4 mm for the "larger version" and 26.5 by 45.4 mm for the "smaller" version.
There are two versions of the gauge holder: one that is free standing, and one that will fit in the V-slot frame on a Creality Ender 3 or other printer that uses the same type of frame.
You can find these gauges at AliExpress, in electronics stores, and in our KiwiFil webstore at www.KiwiFil.com.
Print without support or brim. Print with the face towards the bed, as shown in the picture.
