Description

A special jewelry box for that special someone

Express your love for someone you care about with this jewelry/gift box. Printed in three parts, you have the option of what colors you choose.

Import the hearts into TinkerCAD, OnShape, Fusion360, MeshMixer or any other favorite 3D program to emboss or deboss them with a custom message, or leave them plain for a simple expression of two hearts beating as one. You can even use PrusaSlicer to emboss or deboss lettering right before you slice!

Use the box to hold a gift of rings, small jewelry, small love notes, or small gifts of love!

The box in the photos was printed as follows:
* Hearts: Proto-pasta stainless steel (sanded and polished)
* Drawer and base: Fillamentum Vertigo Gray

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

The hearts should not need supports assuming your profile is tuned well - bridging should span the gap comfortably.

The drawer needs no supports.

For the base, I would suggest restricting supports to the opening of the drawer and not all the way back as it would be very difficult to clear the entire cavity. You may choose to add supports elsewhere if you feel the heart trails have too much of an overhang.

I printed the hearts lying down with 0.1mm layers for fine detail, requiring less sanding.

The base and drawer were printed in 0.2mm layers.

Use your favorite glue to affix the hearts to the base.

With proper clearing of the opening of the base, the drawer should easily slide in and out.
