Hylian Shield - Full Size

UDPATE 6/19/23: I added a set of files with the complete backing under other files! These pieces replace the edge pieces and allow for a fully printable shield. (Disclaimer, I haven't test printed these, but I've sliced them all and theoretically they should all work)

Hylian Shield edges and embellishments split in pieces small enough to print on MK3. Add backing and handles for a full-sized Hylian Shield!

I remixed this shield model for a Link cosplay. All of the pieces were printed with supports to keep them in the original orientations they had before the model was split into parts (this made the prints take longer and use more material, but made the top surfaces a lot cleaner). I would recommend the supports if you don't plan on sanding/finishing the print, which I didn't since it was a bit of a time crunch. 

To finish the shield, I superglued all of the shield edges together and then shaped a piece of EVA foam to match the curvature. Then I trimmed and spray painted the foam blue before gluing it to the printed edges with CA superglue. I added handles to the back using a combination of more foam and thrifted belts.
