Automatic water dispenser

This is an automatic water dispenser and I designed for a toy bird. Its a parametric design and can easily be scaled up for dispensing water for a small pet. I built this using onshape and the design is freely available here. All you need is a free onshape account and you can customize it to your needs.

How it works: The water from the bottle would not just flow out if air is not able to get in. If the entry for air is restricted then it creates a partial vacuum that regulates the flow of water down. there is a notch in the funnel that would let air in but as the container fills in and water line goes above the notch air has no way to get in and it automatically stops the flow of water. Very simple and elegant control system.
