So this rig is based on similar rigs you can find online from manufacturers like Track Racer, Sim-lab, and so on. So many variations and price points.

My goal was to have sturdy rig which can handle DD wheel and LC pedals and I think this one can do it for sure.

Compared to another offering in 500USD range you will get better construction for the same amount of money with all extras you would have to buy otherwise.

IMPROVEMENTS

1. Integrated Monitor mount (holes need to be drilled for your specific mount)
2. Adjustable legs
3. More robust DD mount (fits GT DD Pro)
4. More robust pedal plate - adjustable
5. Does not move (added sideplates + monitor mount remove any side to side play)

Aluminum Extrusion

I am using light version of IM profile 8040 or 4040. Trust me, it is plenty strong.

4040:

• 500 mm (2x)

8040:

• 146 mm (2x) - you need to tap thread on all 4 holes
• 480 mm (2x) -  - you need to tap thread on all 4 holes
• 1350 mm (2x)
• 750 mm (2x)
• 500 mm (2x)

Aluminum plates

They do not have to be strictly form Al, but steel is to heave and would need some coating. 

All DXF files have thickness identified in the name as well as how many pcs you need (always a pair from each)
