Description

Simple ring holder with a place to put earrings.

Model on photos is printed with Print-Me Advanced Matt white PLA filament in 0.15 layer on my Prusa Mk3s.

I recommend infill 40% or more for increased weight and stability.

Model is in two versions:

  1. File “swan - one piece” - uncut model in one piece to slice and divide to your liking.
  2. Files “part 1” + “part 2” + “bolt0” (print 4 bolts) - model cut to print with smooth tray and back of the neck.

Description of joining parts in the cut version:

  1. Supports are under the front part of the neck (they are less visible that way).
  2. After removing the supports sand a bit the front neck part where they were attached.
  3. The bolts are mainly for setting the parts in right position. I recommend using glue for better joining parts with less visible crevice.
  4. Put the bolts in holes, apply some cyanoacrylic glue on the bigger part cut surface.
  5. Fit and press firmly the other part for 2-3 minutes to ensure they are pressed together as much as possible and the crevice is not noticeable too much.
  6. When using a matte filament, you can also sand a bit the top layers.

The multiple versions of bolts are in case if the standard ones (bolt0) were too tight or loose.

Bolt_plus_01. has diameter 0.1 mm larger than bolt0. Other ones have smaller diameters (0.05 and 0.1 mm) than bolt0). In my Prusa the bolt0 is just right for tight fit.

I recommend painting the seam on the bottom and the front part of the neck.

These settings are already applied in the gcode file.
