Description
This mount allows a variety of ways to connect your tobii5 eye tracker to your curved monitor.
Mine is an Alienware AW2334DWF which is a 1800R (radius in mm) Ultrawide.
The aim was to have a removable tobii that was forward of the screen centre sufficient to average out the error in tobii's detection because it thinks all monitors are flat.
I have angled the mounting tabs to accomodate the bezel 12 deg taper angle of my monitor.
If you use the included Tobii mount it can stick to mine and still function to adjust angle.
I have included a separate angled fitting you can glue to the face of the mount to angle your tobii up more and this is useful if you glue magnets or a metal piece to use the magnets on the back of the tobii.
If you want tobii out of the way you can stick magnets or metal to back of monitor and simply house it in behind when you want.
Print one or both pieces as you need and please help my filament supply by posting your makes or remixes!
p.s I'll include the F360 file for editing. The sketch will enable you to change your own monitors radius or the bezel angle etc. I'm still learning design on F360 so please share your thoughts!
