Ford Maverick Under-Seat Divider (FITS)

This is a divider for the Ford Maverick rear under-seat compartment, it utilizes the Ford FITS integrated mounts.

The design is comprised of two main parts, the divider and the FITS brackets. The brackets bolt on to the divider using M3X20mm socket head cap screws. There are two variations of the bracket, one utilizing M3 heat set thread inserts, and one using M3 nuts. I prefer the heat set threads, but not everyone has them available. There are three types of dividers to choose from, the solid one is faster to print and may be a bit more sturdy, the hex one uses half as much filament and is a bit nicer aesthetically, but takes longer to print, and finally, I've included a split version of the solid divider to allow for printing on a smaller print bed. Print the half divider in the orientation it was created in, and provide supports to the build plate. The half divider is assembled using M3X12mm socket head cap screws and either M3 nuts or heat set inserts.

When printing the brackets, I would suggest using “supports everywhere” to ensure the screw holes print cleanly.

Ideally this would be printed in ASA or PETG, ABS is fine as long as it stays under the seat and out of the sun, PLA is not recommended as it may melt in a hot car.
