Easy AAA Battery Calipers Mod

I strongly suggest everyone to check out Nil's AAA battery adapter as it requires no wires and only 15mins / 1 gram to print! Even I've moved away from this design and printed a bunch of his adapters

Mod your calipers to use AAA's! Instead of those dumb button cells. There are a few of these mods already but each of their post-print setups were kind of a pain.

I managed to make this version with NO soldering, springs or screws!

All you need is   • wire (24 awg)  • 2 dabs of super glue  • strip of double sided tape.

**You can also use a usb c rechargeable aaa for a more permanent fancier setup!

1. Use double sided tape to stick the battery holder to the back of the calipers
2. Route your wires through the holes and twist the ends into a spiral (see photos)
3. After you're satisfied with your wires dab some super glue to keep them in place
4. Slide off the battery cover and terminal cover off your calipers and route the wires inside
5. Bend the ends of your wires into hooks and hook them around the corresponding terminals (see photos)
