PTFE Tube Holder - Sunlu Filadryer S2 and More!!!

Required:

• PTFE Tubing Length of Your Choosing(4mm OD x 3mm ID)
• 8-32 x 0.5in OR M4 x 12mm Screw (model available for both)
• 1in Wide, Heavy Duty Double Sided Tape
• 0.15mm Layer height (recommended to maintain printed threads)

I was looking for a PTFE tubing holder for my Sunlu Filadryer S2 so that I could route PTFE tube from my filament dryer to my Palette 3 Pro. There are several models available, but I couldn't find one that I would secure the PTFE tube without the use of a push-to-connect fitting.

This PTFE tubing holder utilizes an integrated clamp that secures the PTFE tubing using a single screw. It attaches to the S2 hood using two small squares of heavy duty double sided tape. This holder is not limited to the Filadryer S2 as it can be taped to any surface with a hole in it for reverse bowden setups, such as enclosures.

Installation Instructions:

1. Clean the holder and S2 Hood surface near opening(s)
2. Apply double sided tape squares to holder. Areas are marked "T" for tape. (ensure tape is not intruding on PTFE hole, do not remove tape covering)
3. Insert PTFE tubing through holder to where 0.25in of PTFE is exposed on the tape side of the holder.
4. Remove the tape covering.
5. Insert the 0.25in of exposed PTFE tube THROUGH the factory PTFE insert piece on the Sunlu Filadryer S2 hood outlet while ensuring the PTFE Holder remains square with S2 body and aligned with the S2 outlet hole.
6. Firmly press the holder tape against the dryer.
7. Install and snug screw down to clamp PTFE Tubing into holder (do not over-tighten)

Installation Tip:

• If PTFE tubing is hard to insert into clamp when installing, use a flathead screwdriver as a wedge to expand the clamp and allow PTFE tubing to move freely.
