Description

I wanted the reuse my ender 3 steppers to build The 100, so I attempted to remove the press-fit pulleys with a few printed models, shear force, and heat. None of that got the pulleys to even budge. That's what brought me to create this model, a printable lead screw coupler that fits around the pulley. 

There are two versions

  1. Long Motor Coupler: works for the motor with a 21mm shaft
  2. Short Motor Coupler: works for the motor with a 16mm shaft and should also theoretically work for the 21mm too
  3. Both versions should leave the lead screw at the same height if you want to use both pulleys for dual Z like I am with the 100

Hardware Required (Per Motor):

  • 4 16mm M3 Screws
  • 4 M3 Nuts

Print Settings: 

  • Orientation: Lay the long flat side down on the print bed (See image)
  • 3 perimeters
  • No supports
  • 25% Infill
  • Material: PLA
