Description
In Europe and in parts of South America & Asia, electrical devices are often connected with a type C power plug.
The electricity cable that is used for this is 2-core double-insulating so that no protective earth is required.
The advantage of a type C power plug is that it is narrower compared to the round plugs.
The disadvantage is that this type C power plug may only be used on devices that do not require an earth connection.
To make a type C power plug yourself, you need the two pins from a mountable round power plug such as the type E or F.
Use double insulating power wire to connect the pins.
Remove 4 cm from the outer sheath and strip 5 mm from the inner cables.
Slide the pull protection over the cable up to the outer casing.
Screw the cables to the pins.
Place the pins in the recesses with the screws facing the center.
guide the wires along the S notches and slide the pull-lock over the edge at the back of the bottom part.
When everything is assembled properly, press the upper part to the lower part.
If desired, the two parts can also be glued together for extra safety
