Description

Simple universal nozzle for vacuum cleaners. 

Models included for the following internal diameters: 32, 33, 34 and 35 mm. 

Change the features to your own needs, by editing the user parameters in the attached Fusion 360 file. 

The following features of the model can be changed by parameter:

  • Internal diameter hose handle end
  • Length of the hose handle end
  • Taper angle of the hose handle end so it locks
  • Length of the spacer between the handle and nozzle part
  • Internal height and width of the nozzle
  • The angle of the nozzle tip
  • The thickness of the model

(To edit the properties, open the *.f3d in Fusion 360, choose “Modify” and then “Change Parameters”. ) 

Print directions:

Print the model standing, with the handle end down. 

Add a nice brim to secure to the print plate. I used a 10 mm internal and external brim to be sure. 

No support needed.

Notes:

All *.stl models have 0.5 mm added to the internal diemater for tolerance, and an internal taper angel of -0.2 deg. This decrase the internal diameter by -0.55 mm over 80 mm.

For other handle lengths and taper angles, check the attached convertion table for the effect on the internal diameter on the spacer end of the handle.
