D Cell Battery Box

Last minute idea to help organize my camping gear. This will hold 12 D Cell batteries with a lid that is secure. You can hold it upside down and the lid doesn't pop off with batteries in it. It is a little tight, but if you pull up where the tabs are it pops off a little bit of force.

This is not a sealed box. It will not protect the batteries from moisture or any type of liquids.

It can also be used for other items as well.

I can't comment on the longevity of the tabs when printed with PLA. If you need durability just use ABS or PC.

Printed with Polymaker polyterra charcoal black PLA with adventurer 3 pro.

I used a .6 nozzle, .3 first layer, .45 layer height, .7 path width. 50C bed temp, 250C nozzle temp, 55mm/s print speed for everything except first layer (15mm/s). Inner to outer shell print order, no start point acceleration.
