Description
Welcome to Chiang Mai, Thailand!
This model was designed by Dany Sánchez.
Wat Phan Tao is a Theravada Buddhist temple within the old city walls of Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. It's one of the many temples in the area, and we chose it to represent the typical architectural style of the north: dark teak wood without paint. It used to have a temporary wooden stupa in the back, but now it's been finally replaced with a definitive, mortar stupa covered in gold leaf.
This can be printed in parts and assembled after, allowing a look at the interior and the typical golden Buddha statue.
