Description
I like the Parrot portable teleprompter, but the few times I tried using it mounted on Canon EF-m 22mm lens, the lens motors were not happy focusing with all the extra weight. So, I had this thing sitting in storage until I decided to make some rings. Inspired by some of the coldshoe lens adapters that people have uploaded, I decided to do the same for the teleprompter.
These adapters have much better weight distribution, and it doesn't feel like the lens motors will break, but each lens diamater requires a custom adapter
They use a gopro style M5 Thumbscrew and with a nut lock part.
I have created adapters for the following lens/diameters:
I've printed these with PLA 0.6mm nozzle on Prusa Mini+ the the largest part flat with minimal painted supports in the gap used to adjust the tightening. I recommend printing with black filament to minimise see-through visibility of the adapters through the glass of the teleprompter.
