Overview
The main part of the model is dontdisturb_empty on which you can apply your own design or use one of the prepared. The Mandalorian one is inspired by https://www.printables.com/model/196320-boba. The second one is Fireman Sam with a Czech sign (My son asked for it :) ).
How to print it without MMU*
The design count by printing the picture on the first 2 and last 2 layers. It can be printed without MMU. Personally, I've used the following approach:
- Open PrusaSlicer and set two extruders in the menu Printer Settings → General → Extruders
- In the section Printer Settings → Custom G-code find the “Tool change G-code” textbox and write there “M600”. Roughly speaking, it will cause the printer will require to switch filament manually when the color should be changed. Notice that the switch of the filament will be required even before it starts to print.
- Import both files (dontdisturb_empty and the stl with the required design). The PrusaSlicer opens a dialog about multi-part object detection. Click on Yes.
- Ensure the order of the pars is correct. Otherwise, you will not see the required design on the top and bottom.
- When you slice it, you should see the required design on the top
- The printer should start with the printing of the internal design
