Description
Modified body for 3DSIMO Kit 2 3D pen. The original body is too big and nozzle is hidden inside. There for you can not see what and where you are doing.
This body leaves the nozzle open, easy to see what is happening.
This design is suitable for short works. Like corrections to 3D printed parts. It is not suitable for 3D pen designs. The body is to close to the nozzle and during longer work it might start to deform because of the heat.
Also there is a risk of burning yourself by the open nozzle.
So be careful. Not suitable for kids in any case.

Better use 3 diameters (shells).
Printed on the flat side using supports. This make advantage of easy and fast print. But the visible part finish is not ideal because of marks from supports and possible overhangs warping. If you want to have a nice part, you will have to print top down standing on the "leg" going to the 3DSIMO main board. It will require much more supports and longer print time.
Using of heat resistant material is necessary, ASA/ABS is very minimum.
