Cupra Born Tablet Holder

In some situations I have to sit in my CUPRA Born and wait while it is charged. Often I am watching some videos on my tablet. With this holder it will be more ergonomic, because the iPad will be attached to the entertainment monitor of the car and I can watch some videos.

The holder should also fit at Volkswagen id.3, but I was not able to test. Some feedback would be awesome.

If you printed the holder, I am happy to se your versions and your feedback.

Disclaimer

1. Do not attach the holder and the iPad during driving sessions. It could be dangerous!
2. I have no scratches on my car display, but I is in your responsibility to use the holder carefully.
3. I am also not responsible, if the iPad flip out of the holder. Be careful.

Design

I created a hook witch fits to the display of CUPRA Born (And should also fit to Volkswagen id.3. Some feedback would be welcome!). It is designed with special angles to get the best position for the iPad. Additionally there are four magnets (diameter: 4mm, thickness: 3mm) to attach the magnets of the iPad smooth. 

As little gimmick there is a small CUPRA logo to be sure to have attach the hooks in the correct way.

Video Calls

The holder is designe to also attend during video calls. The angel of iPad is adjusted to fit perfectly your face.

Printing

It is recommended to print the holder in PETG because within heat of sun PLA will melt.

• Infill: 5%
• Brim: no
• Supports: no

You have to print the holder twice.

Note: The holder on the pictures is a prototype printed in cheap blue PLA which is not the best to print, as you can see. I use it for prototyping. Final version will be printed in PETG.
