Hand Plane blade protection

An uncomplicated but effective protection for the blade on your hand plane.
Add a rubberband(s) at the almost closed side and you have a simple to use protection for your blade when you put it aside or in your toolbox.

Make it a good fit for your planer:

1. Measure the  width of your hand plane (for example 52 mm)
2. Take the stl with the closest size indication at the end of the name. In the example it is the 50mm version
3. Divide the  measured size (52 mm) by the models size (50mm) so in example it will be 52/50 = 1.04 (or 104 %)
4. Download and import the right model (step 2) in your slicer and scale the X-axis with the calculated number (in example 1.04 or 104%)
5. Print and use

Except for the inner size, all the models are the same. Included is the 80mm version as stp-file.
