CR Series Filament Out Detector Relocater

As any owner of a Creality CR series printer will be happy to tell you, the filament sensor is located so closely to the extruder that if it does detect a break or the filament runs out, it's very hard to recover from it because there's no room to get your fingers in to pull out the filament.

So, I made this. It relocates the sensor ~80mm farther away from the extruder so it's easier to remove the broken filament (or re-fill the filament)

It's a bit "flexy" so that it doesn't force the filament to bend sharply to enter the sensor, hopefully, reducing the chance of it breaking
