3D printed parametric wall clamp for pipe, Default diameter 32mm
Manufacturing procedure:
- Material: PETG (possible alternatives ABS, ASA, PC, PA11), not recommended PLA
- 3D Printer: FDM 3D printer, average print time 30 – 60 minutes, depending on parameters
- Slicer settings: 4 perimeters, 0.2mm layer height, print in the position where the clamp is lying on the print bed to increase the strength and adhesion to the print bed
- Post processing instructions: Clean the stringing, check clearance of the screw
- Assembly instructions: Use the screw (default diameter 4mm) to mount to the wall, insert pipe
Following parameters can be adjusted using Autodesk Fusion 360:
- PipeParameter - Enter value from 20mm to 40mm, for higher or lower values the right geometry might not be generated.
- ClampThickness - Enter value from 12mm above
- Clamping Angle - Enter value from 60 to 150 degrees.
- ScrewDiameter – Enter value according to the used screw with 0.1-0.3mm more for tolerance
- ScrewHeadDiameter – Enter value according to the used screw with 0.5- 1mm more for tolerance
- DistanceFromWall - Distance of Pipe diameter from the wall
