Description
This model combines a square and a clamp. It would be use to assemble cabinetry, shelves, large boxes, etc. The marks are in centimeters on one side and in inches on the other side.
The inside is 140mm x 140mm, the outside is 175mm x 175 mm and it has a thickness of 35mm horizontally and 25mm vertically.
The model uses two (2) L-bolts of 120mm long by 30mm wide in 8mm diameter. I chose metric measurements because Amazon US sells 120mm x 60mm M8 U-bolts that can easily be cut in two to get two L-bolts. This is how I got my L-bolts (link in the first comment). Elsewhere, it is easy to find M8 L-bolts.
Printing
The model can be printed in two colors using the Prusa MK3S+ with MMU2S. Or it can be printed in a single color for people who do not have the MMU2S. I am providing files for both printers.
I tried to print both in Prusament PETG Lipstick Red and in generic ABS. Both models appear to be sturdy. PETG has a bit of flex but I believe it is a good thing in this particular case. I printed a lot of wood tools in ABS and they still work great a few years later.
Assembly
The clamp goes first on the bolt, followed by an optional washer, followed by the nut handle, followed by the nut (eventually glued to the handle with a bit of epoxy).
Contributors
I want to acknowledge the help of a very curious chipmunk who wanted to know what I was doing while taking pictures. This model is the only 100% chipmunk-approved model on Printables, I believe.
