Note: This design does require multi-color print capability like a PRUSA MMU or Bambu with AMS.
This simple design can be printed in 2 parts and assembled in under an hour.
Printed parts needed:
- Nuka Cola cap - This is printed face-down in two colors (red and white) both standard opaque colors.
NOTE: Red filament in general is highly translucent and lets a lot of light through. I recommend printing this at 100% infill. If you want more light you can crank down the infill. The example used in the photos was 15% infill and I ended up having to paint the backface black because too much light was coming through
- Nuka Cola back - This has slots to indicate where to run the LED strips and has two holes to insert screws to attach hanging wire for wall mounting. 100% infill.
The two pieces are glued together.
Non-Printed Parts Needed
- Led strip, I recommend the COB type to avoid hotspots.
- USB cord for power or a dedicated power supply
- Some CA Glue
- Hanging Wire
- 2x screws.
