Voron V0.2 Lower Rear Panel with 8010 MCU fan

June 25, 2023
Description
The existing 30mm fan for cooling the Raspberry Pi, BTT pico board and stepper drivers may not be sufficient if users want to fully enclose the V0.2 for ABS, ASA or Nylon with a hot chamber. I design a back panel to install a silent 80x10mm 24V fan that will be better at pushing air onto the electronic. It has hexagonal openings on the sides allowing the hot air to exit.
There are 3 versions.
1: Full piece to be printed on a larger printer. Users are to install brass inserts M3 OD5mm H4mm to mount the 80mm fan
2: Split pieces with printed connectors that can be printed on the V0.2. Users are to install brass inserts M3 OD5mm H4mm to mount the 80mm fan
3: Laser cut 3mm acrylic and use M3 nuts for mounting - use the dxf file
I have included the individual 3mf files in separate folders for download.
The Voron-inspired fan cover for the 80mm fan is printed and can be found in the 3mf file. Installation is the same as the stock panel.

As with all my designs, it may and may not work for you. So print and install at your own discretion.
