16th Century Mughal Jali Pierced Screen Lamp

I was inspired by a 16th century Mughal jali (pierced window screen) on display at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. Thus, I replicated the 2 different Islamic Geometric Patterns into something easier to print and light up with a single WS2812B RGB LED.

Please note that the first 2 layers of each of the 5 “jali”s as well as the “base shell” were printed in white PLA to help better bounce light around the interior of the pierced chamber. As well, I used superglue to hold the chamber together
