Multi-Usage Design

This means the design is made for simple 3d print them by also keeping the opportunity to just change some parts to fit different tapes.

Current STL design here is for a tape with ID=77mm and a width of 20mm.

The green inner dia is kinda flexible to fit a higher range of the inner diameter of tapes. Here it seems 77mm +-1mm seems to be standard.
The width of the part can be extended to fit a more wider tape.. common sizes here are 20, 25, 30, 50mm.

The blue spacer fits exactly for the size needed for the tape (20mm here). If the width of the tape needs to be changes, larger parts can be used here. The nice thing is, they are flat on one side which makes them easy to print and this also works as flat surface in combination with the frame as stand alone surface on a table or so… On the other hand, there are 1 or on wider parts 2 holes into, so it is also possible to mount the tape dispenser on a wall or such. They can also be used to hang this thing on a kind of hook or such.

The black bolt is also 3d printable with a flat surface and is also designed to be flexible enough to fit through the holes and snag in on the other side with a printed washer (red) on it. This allows a setup which doesnt need any screws to change the tape if it is empty with a new one.

The yellow sawblade is in real a iron-sawblade from the local store, just cut out a pice of it and drilled two holes in it to match the holes of the frames it is screwed in. You can maybe give the stl here a try, but i would recommend to use a metal sawblade for its stiffness and lasting longer. The tooth are even sharper which makes it easier to cut the tape.

6 screws DIN 7984 M4x8 are used to put this thing together. The design and size of the hole fits exactly my PRUSA Mini+ to get the screws in without the need of a thread cut, nor used too much force to break the parts.

I recommend to print with PETG for longer lasting. 15% infill should be enough. If you wanna go safe, use 30% and 3 walls.

Tip: use just a very little tip of grease for the bolzen or at lease give it a bit of sanding, so that the tape can roll freely :)
