Creality K1 hotend sock mold

Creality K1 hotend sock mold.  Please see pics.  Printed in high quality with MOLD special mode and no infill.  Test run with low temp silicone looks good.  High temp silicone on order but for now, it's looking really good.

Try printing this with between 5-7mm spacing between the mold walls.  Also, I have completely rebuilt the model from ground up.  Print is now 85% of the size of original, so you may need to tweak the scaling just slightly.  However, design wise internally it is looking great and the test fit on my K1 was too loose for my liking so I will post both models if you want original size and the target 85%.

Pouring silicone molds is super easy too.  You will peel off the very top layer of the print and see the cavity.  Mix the silicone and pour slowly into the mold and wait until it is ready to be removed.  Removing the mold without damaging the piece is the hardest part.  I used a dremel to create a cut to split the mold open and then inverted the silicone which removes the internal structure.  Pics will help show process.
