Diesel Heater in a Weatherproof Case

These parts were inspired from a design by KeeganBuilds (YouTube). I modeled these parts in OpenSCAD to fit the components from a 2 kW diesel heater kit and have included the .SCAD files below so others can modify to fit heaters with varying sized components.

All parts were printed in ABS, which has sufficient heat resistance as none of these parts come in direct contact with the hot air output from the heater. Fasteners were #10 stainless steel machine screws. The exhaust was sealed with a high-temperature exhaust joint compound and wrapped with fiberglass heat shielding. 

The hot air output travels through an off-the-shelf coupler, commonly available on eBay. The coupler can be cut to length to fit inside the case. 

The pump is secured in place with zip ties.

An Apache 3800 case was purchased from Harbor Freight, and a hole saw set used to cut all holes. The exhaust muffler easily slides off the through-hull exhaust fitting and can be stored separately when transporting.
