This is a universal light case for pinball backboxes that will diffuse the sharp

light from a Pirahna Super-flux LED bulb in order to have a softer appearance behind

a translite or a backglass.

The main body should be printed with clear filament in order to allow light to

pass through the support towers. Two different cap options are provided. The full

cap will give the best sideways diffusion but the least top diffusion. If you need

to more fully block the upward light, you can print the partial cap with a more

opague filament which will heavily diffuse or virtually stop the upward light

(depending on color used) but will provide lower diffusion on the sides. I found the

towers to be necessary to make the bulb installation far easier than having filled

in sides. Feel free to modify.

Install the bulb by aligning the flat side of the legs with the slots and press it

through. It may help to first clear out the small holes with a paperclip or similar.
