Description
This is an elegantly shaped watering vessel that can be printed in vase mode or with 3-4 perimeters as a standard vase. You may need to increase your extrusion width slightly to ensure that your print will be water tight. I use a 0.6mm extrusion width with a 0.4mm nozzle for single wall vase mode prints. Make sure, even in vase mode, to use more than one perimeter wall. This is to help ensure that the bottom layers with be sealed around the perimeter, and the wall of your print will still only consist of a single extrusion.
The tan can was printed at 100% scale and it holds around 6 ounces of liquid.
The blue can was printed at 200% scale and it holds almost a full 2 quarts of liquid.
I've included a version with an offset spout. It may not be as comfortable for some to use. If you mirror this version in your slicer, you can make a left handed watering can.
