Description
Welcome to Barcelona, Spain!
This model was designed by Dany Sánchez, improved in 2023 to have better detail and optimized to make it even easier to print, without supports.
🌹 The Casa Batlló is a renowned building located in the center of Barcelona, Spain, and is one of Antoni Gaudí’s masterpieces, finished in 1904. Gaudí and other architects have worked on this remodeled home for the Batlló family through time. The local name for the building is Casa dels ossos (House of Bones), as it has a visceral, skeletal organic quality. Like everything Gaudí designed, it is only identifiable as Modernisme or Art Nouveau in the broadest sense. The façade is decorated with a colorful mosaic made of broken ceramic tiles. The roof is arched and was likened to the back of a dragon, an important element from St. George's legend, patron saint of Catalonia (from Wikipedia).
