Description
This design allows you to build a simple and easy-to-use solar panel featuring a USB A connector. It can be screwed on any surface using the support.
I recommend using a heat-resistant filament, at least for the support.
In addition to the solar panel and the 3D printed parts, you will need a USB A connector, two wires, and silicone sealant. I have explained the assembly process on my blog: https://louis.leculier.com/publications/projets/rendre-les-projets-delectronique-autonomes-dans-le-jardin/. You may also edit the FreeCAD project file to achieve the perfect angle for your region. The process for determining and applying this angle is explained in the blog article. The STL files have been generated with a 39° angle.
There is some free space inside the enclosure, so feel free to fill it with components (just remember that the solar panel may get hot)!
