Description

This customizable rubber stamp prints easily in TPU. Stretch it over the nubs on the handle and you are ready to print! I used block print ink rolled out on a piece of glass for inking the stamp, but a conventional stamp pad should work fine, too.

For the stamp, I used 95A durometer TPU, which is fairly easy to print (printing is more difficult with softer filaments), but it is not nearly as soft as a traditional rubber stamp. Thus, I made the stamp handle curved, which makes it much easier to control the contact pressure as you roll the stamp across your paper. The handle can be printed in almost any rigid material.

Using PrusaSlicer Text Tool to Customize

1. Load the Blank stamp STL file and select the TOP viewing orientation (Press “1”)
2. Right click on the part and select “Add Modifier”→"Text". The Text tool control panel will appear.
3. Enter your desired text at the top. Select your desired font. Enter the desired text height in mm. Set the text depth to exactly 1mm.
4. Click on the “Advanced” option and at the top of the advanced section, select “Use Surface”.
5. At the bottom of the Text control panel, select the “Join” operation.
6. To position the text on the stamp, make sure the text object is selected and click on the Move tool on the left side of the viewing window. Use the handles to drag your text into position.

Note: The Text control panel has a tendency to disappear. If it does, just right click on the text object (either directly or in the object list  on the right) and then select Edit Text. When you close the Text control panel, you should have the text and the blank as two parts of the same object.

7. Once you've got your single object with text, right-click on it and select “Mirror”→"X axis" to get the reverse image for stamping.
