Description

Stop the original metal hooks from falling down and ratling around. Use the 3D printed hooks for even more securely fastened hooks as well as to spice up the colors on your Skadis board.

The included tool allows for quick and easy removal of locking plugs and can also give you some leverage when installing plugs with tight fit to make the hooks snug and secure :-)

See youtube video for more details and instructions.

Print instructions

These are the print settings I used. You can offcourse print in stronger materials and other settings, but this is what worked for me:

Hooks:

-I've used both PLA and PLA+.
-Origianal PrusaSlicer "0.20mm QUALITY" profile in PrusaSlicer
-30% Gyroid infill
-Skirt
-No brim
-No glue
-Smooth sheet

Tool:

-Same as hooks

Plugs:

-I've used both PLA and PLA+.
-Origianal PrusaSlicer "0.15mm QUALITY" profile in PrusaSlicer
-0% infill. Or in other words, there should only be perimeter lines, so infill percentage does not matter, as there is no room for infill.
-Skirt
-No brim
-No glue
-Smooth sheet

If you use 0.20mm profile for the plugs, the fit seem to get tighter. The plugs come in "Loose fit" and "Tight fit" version. Test a couple of each to determine wich are best suited for you before you print a big batch. I tend to like the tight fith ones best (printed with 0.15mm quality profile), but these require more force to install than the loose fit ones.

Hooks and tool are to be printen laying on the side, the plugs are to be printed upside down. STL files are allready oriented the correct way.

See youtube video for more instructions.
