Update August 4, 2023:
New version!
Version 2 of my Toothbrush Holder improves the printability and the drainage (due to a redesign of the internal drainage system) and replaces the round cylinder with a squared-off shape that looks better (I think) and is more in line with the styling of my other bathroom accessories.
Along with a version 2 STL file, PrusaSlicer 3MF files as well as Prusa MK4 g-code files are provided for both traditional wall and fuzzy outside wall versions.
The attached photos show the fuzzy version in generic transparent PETG printed at 0.3mm layer height with a 15% gyroid infill printed on a Prusa MK4.
Original post:
I created this toothbrush holder to conveniently store my Colgate Hum battery operated toothbrush when not in use. Â It includes drainage holes and tray so that the toothbrush doesn't sit in liquid if not completely dry when stored. Â It should work well with any toothbrush that is no more than 25 mm diameter (about 1 inch).
I printed this in Silver PLA at 0.2mm layer height with 3 shells and 40% infill (15% or 20% infill would probably be fine). Â It was printed on my now 9 year old FlashForge Creator.
Now that I have a Prusa MK4, I plan on printing it in PETG, and I'll upload that version once I've done that.
