Filament Spool Holder [Skadis; printed only]

UPDATE 05.02.2024

After several months of using these (with nearly maximum load), i discovered some slightly bended hooks.

Originally, i've printed all parts with 30% infill.

So as a conclusion i recommend printing these with 100% infill and use “spool_holder_skadis + wallsupport integrated” only. This makes the whole assembly way more stable and ridgid. Additionally, the maximum distance between the holders should be 80mm.

UPDATE 11.07.2023

Reuploaded all connection parts, since i was not happy with the stability yet.

The new parts are now as stable as they should be and the connection is now much stronger.

Please note, that the new connection parts wont work together with the old connection parts.

spool_holder_skadis is still the old file and does not need to be downloaded or printed again!

Modular Spool Holder for Ikea Skadis which provides the following:

• easy to print
• printed only
• modular
• spool diameter: 200mm

I highly recommend printing all parts flat to the print bed. (see slicer pictures)

Only this way you'll get the optimal strength of the parts.

For full or heavy spools i also recommend only to go for the 80mm spoolbar so there are enough support parts mounted to the skadis wall for safety reasons.
