Solar Guitar String Spreader (A1.6)

*Not only did I sand the edges when the print was done, but I also covered these in duct tape to protect the neck during use (it does pull against the neck). You could probably also use some kind of foam or felt and hot glue or something alike to attach them to the prints*

I remixed a generic string spreader, but for a Solar A1.6 guitar. I got a close enough radius from measuring the back of the neck and the top fretboard width in 2 places with a metric fabric measuring tape (calipers only would help with the top distance measurement). I found that this works great near frets 1-3, and 12-16 area. The spreader that has a smaller radius is for frets 1-3 area, and the wider spreader is for frets 12-16 area. You will have to slack your strings to get the strings around the spreaders. I have only tried this with the stock windings which had a little bit more on the string post for using these. I'm not sure how easy these are to use if you pull your strings taught before locking the tuners. Give it a shot, it's pennies in material to make these.

Modded this my A1.6 Solar guitar. They are so helpful for maintaining a fretboard. Normally you may spend $35 on StewM@c version online (which are also nice and well built), but this is pennies to make and it could be further customized if you wish to modify the STLs even further for yourself.
