Sony Pulse 3D headphones - microphone mod (mic from SteelSeries Omen by HP)

Microphone in Sony Pulse 3D headset is very, very, very, very bad. People told my that over and over in multiplayer games.

So decided to change things:

• microphone taken from cheap (bought broken from second hand) SteelSeries Omen by HP wired headset
   
• small hole (3mm) in headset to be able to put/hide wire
   
• cut original microphone cable inside and soldered new one to existing wires (The alternative is to mess with tiny connector also used for second, background, microphone. Didn't want to go that route)
   
• mount was printed from PETG with 0.16mm layer. No supports. Printed on one side.
   
• mount was glued. The cable hole is directly under that mount. Glue more horizontally than I did (microphone will be better positioned that way).

People in multiplayer games report that this microphone is much better than original was.

Fusion 360 source included. With simple headpiece model, too, so if you want you can move mount into different place or angle and “combine” it again to get proper curvature of mount.
