Nanolead Essentials LED strip & Controller mount

You can find many mounts, but typically they are designed for screwing. This might not be always option as for example you don't want to drill into expensive bed …

For this reason my mount is glued from 90 degress angle with big surface which is more than sufficient to hold any led strip. 

You can download two parts:

• Strip mount - will work with any LED strip and it's meant to hold the strip itself.
• Controller mount - will work with Nanoleaf controller only as it has exact dimensions for it.

You might ask why would you need controller mount as controller itself can be easily glued by built-in ducktape. Reason is, that it works only one time => after you unglue your controller, it's difficult to reglue it, it just never holds properly …

Controller mount is solving this problem and gives you ability to de-attach controller anytime you need without de-gluing.

Print settings

• No support needed.
• I printed with 0.8mm nozzle and 0.55 mm layer height and works great.
• Recommend to print multiple mounts at a same time as initial start of printer is too long considering amount of mount which is typically needed and duration of individual print.

Assembly

• I used 3M double sided ducktape 19 mm wide (9088-200).
• You can fit 2x 19 mm wide ducktape on each part.
• When glueing, press supporting platform upward against the strip while keeping gluey part far from the surface to which you glue. When everything is alligned, continue pressing upwards and push glueing surface against the wall for glueing.
