Safety
 

Be very cautious, when using this 3D printed replacement for the original splinter guard. I cannot guarantee this is safe, as the official SCM recommendation for the original splinter guard is to trim it to desired length (see excerpt from the machine manual - 7.1.3) and I am not sure how PETG behaves, when cut using the circular saw blade. The 3D printed replacement part was not tested yet.

Printing guidelines

• Setup OpenSCAD and export the stl file (optional)
  • Install the scad-utils library
  • Setup the Lexend Deca font for use with OpenSCAD
  • Optionally modify the project
  • Export the stl file
• Enable supports (only apply them below the “minimax cu 410c” text part)
• Print in PETG with a minimum 25% gyroid infill (look at the scm-minimax-cu-410c-spare-part-v0-1-1-static.3mf file for a proper setup)
