Dell AC511 Soundbar Mount for Dell U4021QW Ultrawide Monitor

I designed this mount so that I could hang a Dell AC511 soundbar from the VESA mount on the back of the Dell U4021QW ultrawide LCD monitor. 

This mount won't work with the Dell monitor stand. See my other models for a version of the mount that works with the stand.

I printed this mount with PETG and had great difficulty printing the sloped surface until I modified several slicer settings. Printing with adaptive layer height helps significantly. See the 3mf file for my settings.

You will need M3 thread inserts to connect the two halves of the mounting bracket. I used M3x0.5 thread inserts from McMaster-Carr but others should work as well. I used some short M3 socket head cap screws as well.

You'll need some M4 screws to attach the mount to the back of the monitor, I believe I used M4x20mm but other lengths should work as well. Be mindful of using longer screws that may damage the monitor.
