Description
The design is non-destructive/removable and does not require modifying the AMS in any way, as it utilises the void area in the AMS moulding to hold the fixture in place.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH EARLY VERSIONS OF THE AMS DUE TO A DIFFERENCE IN THE MOULDING OF THE AMS CASING
The SKADIS board will sit centred on the side of the printer if the AMS is positioned centred at the back of the printer - this also allows complete compatibility/alignment with popular organisation prints such as the Bambu Lab X1 Gridfinity Base, Bambu Lab Carbon X1C X1 P1S P1P with AMS Top Tool Storage and other variants of a similar design.
Two registration pegs will assist with aligning the SKADIS with the print for securing.
SKADIS will sit perfectly on the surface the printer is sitting on (assuming no dampeners/taller legs have been added to your printer).
No additional fixings/items are required, as this utilises the fastenings provided with the SKADIS, without needing the metal spacing bracket usually used to attach the SKADIS to the wall.
