Description
Summary
All New and Improved Design! Better Airflow, Cooling, and Assembly.
This new design features a proper nut & bolt for each corner so you don't have to mount directly into the print like V1.
This is a drop-in replacement for anyone who built the V1. The only thing that has changed is the case design.
I used M3-.50 nuts & bolts for the corners.
I would recommend printing the V2 version with a SLA printer because of the better heat resistance and precision required for the vent areas.
V1 will continue to be available because it is easier to print on basic FDM printers.
(Thanks to One Man Banjo for the new design, Check his stuff out here: https://www.thingiverse.com/one_man_banjo/designs)
It would be nice to have an improved active cooling solution with built-in airflow ducts (channels) and a better heatsink, perhaps a V3 is needed...
