Audi A4 2001-2005 (B6) Tow Hook Cap

This is the cap for the tow hook on the front bumper for Audi A3/A4 2001-2005 B6. Mine is delicately and diligently broken by the tow car driver. So I designed a new one. (Note that the photos are from an older version. The one I uploaded fits super nicely to my car).

The thing contains 3 parts: The cap itself, the hook that pins the cap to the bumper (couldn't find a better name) and a pin that secures the cap to the car (also couldn't find a better name). The hook needs to be glued to the rear of the cap. I designed it in that way, because if you still have the original metal hook then you can use that too. But the hook that I designed works well too. The only issue is that it is not very easy to remove. But I think it is a good thing.

FreeCAD file is included and please remix this thing.

Oh one nice note about the design is that I have scanned the bumper of the car with AliceVision Meshroom and it worked super well. The related part of the scanned model is included in the FreeCAD file.

I printed it with PLA+ but I guess PETG is a better choice. Use %100 infill.
