Description
This is a poster/picture frame that is easy to install and remove using command strips. This was designed to hold the 9.5 inch wide trail map poster shown in the images, but should work for smaller items in that size range.
There are two parts. “Framebar” is a simple flat bar and “Wallmount” has two extra vertical areas for the command strips. You can use one wall mounted piece and three of the flat pieces to let your poster hang freely at the bottom. Or you can use a wall mounted part at the top and bottom to keep the poster fixed securely at both ends. I think that feature makes this design a big improvement over other similar concepts. You could also just use one of each part if you do not care about weighing down the bottom end of the poster.
Each part takes three ~12mm diameter x ~1.75mm thick neodymium magnets (available on Amazon). You will need to pause the print to insert them into the holes. Make sure to think through the polarity of the magnets while you are deciding how to place them. I have been printing at least two parts at a time so I can be certain the magnets are placed in opposite directions.
